Jim Wring Jim Wring, President and CEO

Jim joined Cumberland River Homes in January of 2018 as Executive Director and became President and CEO in 2023.  Jim graduated with the Edward Mallinckrodt, Jr. Award for Excellence from West Kentucky Technical and Community College, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Organization Leadership from Mid Continent College.   He has presented at multiple national healthcare administration conferences.  Jim loves teaching and preaching, having served 26 years as a bi-vocational pastor of three churches.  He is married to his best friend Jodi; has four children, Trent, Gabe, Canaan and Emma; two grandchildren, Beckham and Blaire; and two Boston Terriers, Chloe and CiCi. 


Darla Drawdy, Executive Director and COO

Darla received her Associates degree in Nursing in 2001 from Paducah Community College.  She came to work at Cumberland River Homes in 2011.  She returned to school and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2018.  She provided 12 years of nursing care and healthcare coordination to Cumberland River Homes participants before accepting the role of Executive Director in 2023.  Darla’s goal is to fulfill the mission statement of Cumberland River Homes through loving each person by offering a safe, happy, healthy and respected life. 


Melissa BockMelissa Bock, Behavior Support Program Manager 

Melissa Bock received her Bachelor of Psychology from Western Kentucky University and her Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2014.  Since that time, Melissa has provided consultation as a Positive Behavior Support Specialist in south-central Kentucky working in homes, the community, ADT centers, and in five different school districts,  Her specializations include verbal behavior programming, functional communication training, system-wide PBIS programs, and behavior consultation.  Melissa has also served as an adjunct instructor teaching behavior modification and classroom management for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Western Kentucky University. Her passion is to help each participant at Cumberland River Homes reach their full potential and never stop growing.  


Jimmie Yates, Day Training Operations Manager

Jimmie graduated from Crittenden County High School and attended Lindsey Wilson College. She began her career at Cumberland River Homes in September 2010 as an ADT staff member. She became ADT supervisor in 2013. She is married to Jordan and has three kids – Chase, Aly and Miles.  Jimmie loves seeing each of the participants grow and make progress on their objectives in order to live a more independent and happy life.


JoAnna McAlister, Residential Operations Manager

Jo has served in residential services with Cumberland River Homes for five years. She has worked as the Residential Operations Manager for seven months by training and assisting care providers and managing day to day operations.  Jo is married with four children and has a wonderful son-in-law.  Jo’s faith is very important to her.  Her passion is helping others, encouraging the direct support providers that work in Cumberland River Homes, and serving God and her church.    


Kelly ONealKelly O'Neal, ADT Supervisor

Kelly began her career at Cumberland River Homes in May of 2012. She has worked in various roles at Cumberland River Homes, but currently serves as the ADT Supervisor. Kelly is married to Justin and has one daughter. Kelly has planted her life at Cumberland River Homes and plans to advance her career here. Kelly loves seeing CRH participants grow and achieve their goals for a more independent life.   


Kelly ONealBraden Locke, Marketing and Fundraising Manager

Braden joined Cumberland River Homes in October 2024. He promotes the vital work being done with our clients and seeks financial support to enhance our impact. A firm believer in the power of small communities, Braden serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Arts Foundation and The Amanda Edmonds Locke Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys interior design, attending theater performances, and spending time with his dog, Scout.  


Our Nurses

Jennifer HardestyJennifer Hardesty, RN, Human Resources Manager

Jennifer began her healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant in long term care in 2001.  In 2009, she graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing and began working in acute care.  In 2019, she finished her Bachelor’s degree and then went on to complete her Master’s degree in 2022 in Nursing Education.  She has served in many different roles over the years, but her passion has always been teaching.  She came to Cumberland River Homes in September 2023, and it has been the most rewarding experience of her nursing career.


Julie WeddingJulie Wedding, RN

Julie has been an RN for six years, specializing in emergency medicine. She loves playing music, hunting and fishing. She also loves spending time with her family and three dogs – Lou, Reba and Cash. She is excited to provide care to the participants at Cumberland River Homes and help them live an overall happy and healthy life.


Gabe Wring, RN

Gabe started working at Cumberland River Homes as a Direct Support Provider on breaks from college between 2012-2016. He received his RN degree in 2016 and worked in hospital settings in various roles for 8 years. When a position opened at CRH, he knew in his heart that is where he was supposed to be.  His passion is working with those with mental disabilities.   Gabe is thankful to be able to have a positive impact on the CRH participants’ health and well-being.
